This privacy notice for users/visitors interacting with the website https://dreamingclassic.com/ is provided pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 concerning “the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data,” as well as the legislation on cookies, in particular the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Order of May 8, 2014, “Identification of simplified procedures for information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies,” and the subsequent “Clarifications regarding the implementation of cookie regulations” issued on June 5, 2015.
This notice describes solely how the website is managed with regard to the processing of users’/visitors’ personal data and does not apply to external websites that may be accessed by users via links on this site.
Additional information may be provided within specific sections of the website.
1.1. Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal functioning, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its very nature may, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users/visitors to be identified.
The data collected include IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response provided by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are processed, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected, solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website (such as access data) and to ensure its proper functioning.
The data may also be used to ascertain liability in the event of potential cybercrimes against the website.
1.2. Data voluntarily provided by the user
Sending emails to the addresses listed on this website (for example, to request information) involves the acquisition of the sender’s email address, as well as any other personal data included in the message. These data will be processed solely to respond to the request and disclosed to third parties only where necessary to fulfill it (e.g., document delivery services).
Where users/visitors are required to provide personal data in order to access specific services, a dedicated and detailed privacy notice regarding the relevant data processing will be provided in advance on the pages of each service, in accordance with applicable law, specifying the scope, purposes, and methods of processing.
1.3. Cookie
Cookie description
Cookies are small text files sent by the website visited by the user to the user’s device (usually to the browser), where they are stored so that the device can be recognized during the user’s next visit to the site. On each subsequent visit, cookies are sent back from the user’s device to the website.
Cookies may be “installed” (more precisely, stored and accessed) not only by the operator of the website visited by the user (first-party cookies), but also by a different website that installs cookies through the first site (third-party cookies) and is able to recognize them. This happens because the visited website may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages from other domains, etc.) that reside on servers different from that of the visited site.
Technical cookies are “installed” solely for the purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service.”
They are generally used to enable efficient navigation between pages, store user preferences (e.g., font size, language, country, etc.), retain information about specific user configurations, manage authentication, and so on. Some of these cookies (known as essential or strictly necessary), such as session cookies used to manage shopping carts on e-commerce websites, enable functions without which certain operations would not be possible.
The use of technical cookies does not require the users’ consent.
Technical cookies also include (and therefore do not require user consent or additional legal formalities for their installation) so-called “analytics” cookies used to monitor website usage for optimization purposes, when they are used directly by the first-party site (without third-party involvement), as well as third-party analytics cookies used by the first-party site solely for statistical purposes, provided that appropriate measures are adopted to reduce their identifying power (for example, by masking significant portions of the IP address) and the third party expressly commits not to combine the information contained in these cookies with other data it holds.
Profiling cookies are used to track the user’s browsing activity and analyze behavior for marketing purposes. They are intended to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during online navigation. These cookies may be installed on the user’s device only if the user has given consent in the manner set out in the relevant regulatory provisions.
Based on their duration, cookies are classified as persistent, which remain stored on the user’s device until their expiration unless deleted by the user, and session cookies, which are not stored permanently and disappear when the browser is closed.
Profiling cookies are usually persistent cookies.
This website uses technical cookies to ensure safe and efficient navigation and to monitor its proper functioning.
Please note that, by default, almost all web browsers are set to automatically accept first-party cookies. Users can, however, change the default configuration through their browser settings. Disabling, blocking, or deleting cookies may prevent optimal use of the website or certain sections of it. Cookie management depends on the type of browser used and often on its specific version. Generally, you need to access the browser’s Settings and adjust the predefined rules, deciding which types of cookies to disable and/or removing existing ones. Detailed instructions on how to configure cookie settings can be found in the guides of the browser in use (usually accessible on a computer by pressing F1 or clicking the question mark icon within the browser).
